A.R. has begun!

This nine weeks we will be reading and participating in the Accelerated Reader program here at TCE. Our goal is to recieve 5 points by the end of the nine weeks. That means we have to make a 100 on 10 books! I have no doubt that all my students can meet this goal. Keep practicing those sight words at home and keep reading. You may read to your child, with your child, or have them read to you. A good tip, is to ask your child to retell or draw events that occured in the story. This is a good tool to check for understanding and comprehension. We are "revin up for learning" here at TCE Motor Speedway where learning is fun!
