The Lorax came to visit T.C.E.

The Lorax character from the Dr. Suess books came to visit our school. We learned about how to keep our planet clean by recycling. The students got to play different games using recyclable materials. Michael and Franchesca raced with other students trying to build a tower out of cans.

Kindergarten Program

All of the kindergarten classes will be presenting a program on Friday March 23. The program will begin at 1:00. Please try to make plans to come be with us! Our class will be wearing khaki bottoms with green shirts. I have already purchased the green shirts. The cost of each shirt is $1.00. The students will wear their uniform shirt that day and change into the green shirt for the program. Hope to see you there!

Congratulations Jordyn

We celebrated reading across America this week. To inspire reading, the media center had a book mark decorating contest. Congratulations Jordyn for being picked as the overall winner for kindergarten. Way to go!!!

Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss!

We ate green eggs and ham and little oreo top hats to celebrate the birthday of Dr. Seuss! He is the author of many different books including "The Cat in the Hat" and "The Lorax."

Michael Douglas from the Harlem Globe Trotters

Michael Douglas came to visit our school. We had an assembly where he encouraged the students to do their best and be successful. He told us to set a goal and accomplish it and do not let obstacles get in our way. Thanks Michael Douglas!
